Okatoma Creek is a tributary of the Bouie River in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is part of the watershed of the Pascagoula River.

Okatoma Creek is popular for canoeing and kayaking particularly near Seminary, Mississippi where there are several rental businesses. While a far cry from being a challenge to the highly experienced canoe enthusiast, it does offer several Class I falls and shoots. It offers a great half-day or full-day trip and perhaps one of the nicest parts is that it can be done in early spring and late fall as the southern location affords better weather conditions that its northern counterparts.

The Okatoma Creek (sometimes referred to as the Okatoma River) is known for taking the family canoeing, picnicking, or camping. The creek offers lots of flat spots, is easy to paddle and canoes or kayaks can be ported past the whitewater when needed. Below each of the whitewater areas, and in several other spots along the way, there are nice beaches to pull off and enjoy a refreshing swim. There are even a few rope swings along the way giving you the feeling of a good "waterhole".

The average temperatures in Seminary range from the upper 30^Os F in the winter to the upper 80^os (16-21^oC)in the summer. The spring and fall months have higher amounts of rain, offer better rides on the river and the temperatures range from the low 60^Os F to 70^os (0-27^oC)^[2].
