Andrea Parhamovich

Andrea Parhamovich, known as Andi, was a National Democratic Institute employee killed in Baghdad, Iraq on January 17, 2007. She was the subject of the book "I Lost My Love in Baghdad: A Modern War Story", written by her fiance-to-be and Newsweek reporter Michael Hastings (journalist).

She attended Marietta College in Ohio, and joined the NDI in late 2006.
