Lebanon micropolitan area

The Lebanon Micropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of three counties – one in New Hampshire and two in Vermont, anchored by the city of Lebanon, New Hampshire.

As of the 2000 census, the μSA had a population of 167,387 (though a July 1, 2007 estimate placed the population at 171,391). Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 167,387 people, 66,696 households, and 43,594 families residing within the μSA. The racial makeup of the μSA was 96.81% White, 0.41% African American, 0.28% Native American, 1.12% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 1.09% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.92% of the population.

The median income for a household in the μSA was $40,835, and the median income for a family was $51,732. Males had a median income of $35,067 versus $25,042 for females. The per capita income for the μSA was $21,127.
