The Dark Knight is an indoor steel roller coaster designed by MACK Rides. It opened on May 21st at Six Flags Great America. A similar ride is also opening at Six Flags Great Adventure this year.

The ride

The Dark Knight Coaster is inspired by "The Dark Knight". Costing $7.5 million, the ride puts guests through the premise of being stalked by the Joker. The Six Flags Great America ride is located in Orleans Place next to Superman: Ultimate Flight and uses former Theater Royale as its queue. The Theater Royale building also houses a pre-show room.
