Anna Kaiulani

Anna Kaokinaiulani 1842 - ? was a Hawaiian royal chiefess, member of the House of Kalakaua and younger sister to King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani.

She was born in 1842 to the High Chiefess Analea Keohokalole and the High Chief Caesar Kapa'akea who both Hawaiian nobles. She was a younger sister of Moses Kapaakea, James Kaliokalani, David Kalakaua, and Lydia Kamaka'eha, and the older sister of Kaiminaauao, Miriam K. Likelike and William Pitt Leleiohoku II.

The name Kaokinaiulani translates from the Hawaiian language as the "The Royal Sacred One". The name Anna either came from her birth mother Analea or her foster mother Anna Kekauonohi. She was the second eldest daughter in the family next to her elder sister Lydia.

She was, according to Hawaiian tradition, "hanaied" (adopted) to the Princess Anna Kekauonohi, who was the granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great, governor of the island of Kauai and foster mother of Abigail Maheha.
