Boundary Commission for Englandhas recommended that the county should in future bedivided into 18 constituencies. The proposed Aldershot and Basingstoke seats, more predominantlyurban than as present defined, will be designated borough constituencies.These changes are expected to be implemented at the United Kingdom general election, 2009/10.
