Trivia

* Charlotte County's Korean & Vietnam War Memorial is in Keysville.
* The town of Keysville was an on location site (the train station served as a recreated Warm Springs, GA) for filming during the production of the 1976 TV movie "Eleanor & Franklin", starring Jane Alexander and Edward Herrmann. Now, the train station has been deemed a landmark and is in the process of being restored after half of it collapsed due to dilapidation.
* Jodie Foster and James Earl Jones were here for three days in 1992 during the production of Sommersby. Keysville has more resources than Charlotte Court House, Virginia nine miles away and, thus, was a better host for the stars during production of the trial which was being filmed in Charlotte Court House.
* Keysville, Virginia serves as a low aviation airspace allowing a turn-around point for Naval aircraft from Norfolk, Virginia during training and war games - approximately a 15 minute ride at "Mach 2".
