Angang Steel Company Limited (hkex|0347) is
China 's fourth largeststeel producer.It is engaged in the production and sale of
steel products, such as hot rolled sheets, cold rolled sheets,galvanized steel sheets, color coating plates,silicon steel, moderately thick plates, wire rods, large steel products and seamless steel pipes. These products are used inautomobile ,construction ,ship-building , homeelectrical appliance s,railway construction industries and in the manufacture ofpipelines .During the year ended December 31, 2006, the Company produced 15.152 million tons of iron and 15.1668 million tons of steel.
During 2006, the Company completed the
acquisition of Angang New Steel and Iron Company Limited (ANSI).External links
