Chatburn Railway Station was a railway station serving the small village of Chatburn in Lancashire.

History

The station was opened by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway and for some years was at the end of the line from Blackburn. The line onwards towards Gisburn and Hellifield was completed in 1880. The station closed to passengers in 1962, shortly before the publication of the Beeching Report.

Chatburn station had its own goods depot, with sidings and a large goods shed. The depot is now an industrial estate and petrol warehouse; the large goods shed is used as a vehicle repair shop.

The main station building is now a private house, like the station building at Dent.
