List of Parliamentary constituencies in West Yorkshire

The English ceremonial county of West Yorkshire is divided into 23 parliamentary constituencies: 13 borough constituencies and 10 county constituencies.

The Boundary Commission for England has provisionally recommended that the county should, in the future, be divided into 22 constituencies. Apart from Calderdale, the proposals and objections were subjected to public inquiry in April of 2005.

Final proposals were published on January 11, 2006, for implementation at the next United Kingdom general election. The final proposals are as follows:

In the City of Bradford:

*Bradford West BC
*Keighley BC
*Shipley CC

In Kirklees:
*Batley and Spen BC
*Colne Valley CC
*Dewsbury CC
*Huddersfield BC

In the City of Leeds:
*Elmet and Rothwell CC
*Leeds Central BC
*Leeds East BC
*Leeds North East BC
*Leeds North West BC
*Leeds West BC
*Pudsey BC

In the City of Leeds and City of Wakefield:
*Morley and Outwood CC

In the City of Wakefield:
*Hemsworth CC
*Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford CC
*Wakefield CC

In Calderdale:
*Calder Valley CC
*Halifax BC
