Canada–Russia relations

Canada–Russia relations refer to bilateral foreign relations between Canada and Russia. Canada has an embassy in Moscow. Russia has an embassy in Ottawa and 2 consulate-generals (in Montreal and Toronto). Both countries are members of G8 and APEC. Canada and Russia have an extensive and sometimes intense sports rivalry; focusing on winter sports (particularly ice hockey).
