This is a discography of the Chicago punk rock band Rise Against, includes five studio albums, two extended plays, one DVD, ten singles and fourteen b-sides. This list does not include material performed by members or former members of Rise Against that was recorded with 88 Fingers Louie, Arma Angelus, Baxter, and The Killing Tree.

Formed in 1999 by vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath and bassist Joe Principe, Rise Against signed to Fat Wreck Chords (a label formed by Fat Mike of NOFX fame) in 2000 and released two albums, "The Unraveling" (2001) and "Revolutions Per Minute" (2003), for the label. In early 2004, the band switched to Dreamworks Records and recorded their third album, "Siren Song of the Counter Culture". However, Dreamworks was absorbed by the Universal Music Group and Rise Against finally found themselves on Geffen Records, who released the album. The singles off "Siren Song of the Counter Culture" — "Give It All", "Swing Life Away" and "Life Less Frightening" — helped Rise Against gain a large mainstream succes.

In July 2006, Rise Against released "The Sufferer & the Witness". The critically-acclaimed album, also the band's most successful, debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, and has since gone Platinum in Canada. The album prdocued five singles — "Ready to Fall", "Prayer of the Refugee", "The Good Left Undone", "Behind Closed Doors", and the radio-only "The Approaching Curve" — and has sold over 500,000 copies in the US, proving to be Rise Against's most successful album to date. The band's most recent studio album is 2008's "Appeal to Reason".
