The racial makeup of the city was 93.19% White, 3.92% Native American, 0.46% from other races, and 2.42% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.85% of the population.
There were 409 households out of which 21.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.3% were married couples living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.2% were non-families. 32.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
