Greek War of Independence .Krestenitis was born in 1793 [His origin of the name was Lykourgos (
Lycurgus ) which he loved the Ancient philosophers and politicians and brought in the other name] in the Ilia and belonged to theKrestenitis family, he was the son of Ioannis Krestenitis. He studied inZante and later at theIonian Academy . He entered the Secret Sotiecy and became attorney and politician of Ilia. During the revolution in 1925, he was forced to destroy the city of Pyrgos and the political differences withTheodoros Kolokotronis andDimitrios Plaploutas . Later, escaped the destruction of the family and from Kolokotronis' military body. In the same year, he was sentenced and prisoned for three years for forgery. He became ajurce of the province ofKynaithi in 1843 and during his time in politics of winery which used the Ministry of Justice in 1865, Internal, Economic and External affairs in 1860. Between 1866 and 1867, he became president of the Greek parliament. Lykourgos Krestenitis during the life, he ran many political scandals. He died in 1873.References
