Bernard Poulin

Bernard Aimé Poulin (born 1945) is a Canadian visual artist specializing in portraiture. He is a portrait painter, muralist, sculptor, author of five books on drawing and international lecturer of note. His significant portraits include:

Desmarais, Ontario Court of Justice, General Division; Marcel Hamelin, President of Ottawa University; Gilles Patry, President of Ottawa University; Yousuf Karsh, Internationally renowned Canadian photographer; Roméo Leblanc, Governor General of Canada and Speaker of the Senate; Jules Léger, Governor General of Canada, Mrs. J. Bernard Poulin is married to Canadian Senator [Marie-Paule(Charette)Poulin BA, MSS, LLB, LLD (Hon.)] They have two adult daughters, Elaine and Valérie.
