Vardenik ( _hy. Վարդենիկ; until 1945, Gezeldara, Nerkin Gezaldara, Gyuzeldara, and Nizhnyaya Gezaldara) is a town in the Gegharkunik province of Armenia. The town sits on the Vardenis river, and was founded in 1828.
