The music video for the song was filmed at the The Storrier in Potts Point and took one week to film various scenes around Sydney. The music video was premiered on March 25, through the Hot 30, and features Dean Geyer playing the love interest of one of the Veronicas (Lisa, his real life ex-fiancee who he was going out with at the time), and Azaria from 'The Follow' (One with the crazy red hair) who is Jess's boyfriend.

This Love debuted at #12 in Australia before finally peaking at #10. Over their short career, the Veronicas have released eight singles in which six have reached the top 10.

In New Zealand, "This Love" debuted at number 37 on July 7 2008, and has so far reached a peak of #15. It has become the girl's fifth top 20 hit in New Zealand.
