A Mexican Briton ( _es. Mexicano Británico) is a person of Mexican ancestry living in the United Kingdom (born and/or raised in the UK), they can be either British citizens or non-citizen immigrants. The Mexican British community is a fairly small compared to other British ethnic groups. The 2001 Census recorded 5,049 Mexican-born people in the UK.

Population

According to the 2001 UK Census, 5,049 Mexican-born people were living in the UK. The number of people of Mexican ancestry is unknown. Many Mexicans come to the UK to study, the University of Manchester is home to some 60 Mexican students.
