Educational History

Johnson is a 1971 graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School. In 1994 he graduated with an AA (Criminal Justice) from the Anne Arundel Community College. Professional History

Johnson was the elected sheriff of Anne Arundel County, Maryland from 1994 - 2007. In 2007, he unsuccessfully ran for County Executive of Anne Arundel County and lost against John R. Leopold (R).
