"Keep the Faith" is Bon Jovi's fifth album, released in November 1992. After "New Jersey" all the members of the band were venturing into different areas. Jon wrote and recorded "Blaze Of Glory" for the "Young Guns II" soundtrack and the song was a massive hit. Richie also recorded his solo album, "Stranger in This Town" and David released his album of classical piano tracks while Tico began career in painting, something he continues to do today. All these events sparked rumors that the band was breaking up.

The album signified an ending to their early metal roots in previous albums, and introduced a more "rock n roll" driven groove to the album. The album turned away from heavy drums and wild guitar solos, but instead introduced a new sound of Bon Jovi which consisted of piano ballads and long epic guitar solos (The "Dry County" solo runs over two minutes).

"Keep the Faith" topped the Canadian,UK and Australian album charts. It was second best-selling album of Canada and Europe behind The Bodygard sountrack in 1993. The album has sold more than 10,000,000 copies worldwide and is Bon Jovi's 4th biggest-selling album worldwide. "Keep The Faith" managed a #5 placing on Billboard 200 and has so far reached double platinum status in US.
