High Places

High Places is a musical group from Brooklyn. The band is a duo comprising multi-instrumentalist Rob Barber and vocalist Mary Pearson.

Career

Rob is from Philadelphia. Mary is from Kalamazoo. After opening for Japanther at a Michigan show Mary visited Brooklyn for two days and met Rob, who was teaching printmaking at the Pratt Institute. After playing some shows for Todd P in Brooklyn the band embarked on their first tour.
