Middle Sackville in Nova Scotia

Middle Sackville is a suburban community located in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality.

Middle Sackville is located immediately north of Lower Sackville and south of Upper Sackville. It is one of several communities situated in Census Subdivision C, which experienced a 7% population growth rate between 1996-2001.

As a result of its unincorporated status until 1996, Middle Sackville and adjacent unincorporated communities such as Lower Sackville and Upper Sackville did not benefit from appropriate planning and are an example of urban sprawl.

The first black settlement in Nova Scotia was located in Middle Sackville at Maroon Hill.
