Expedition 20 is the 20th long duration flight to the International Space Station. This expedition is scheduled to start in September 2009. Because six crew members will be at the station, there will be two separate Soyuz TMA flights launched at two different times (each Soyuz TMA can hold only three people).

Frank de Winne, during the initial part of the Expedition, will be the first ESA astronaut to command a space mission.
