Marshintsy (Ukrainian: Маршинці; Romanian: Marşinţi) is one of the Romanian speaking villages of the Novoselytskyi Raion (district) of Chernivtsi Oblast (province) in western Ukraine (the historical region of Bukovina). Sofia Rotaru was born in Marshintsy in 1947.
