Criticize (song)

Criticize (song)

"Criticize" is Alexander O'Neal's biggest UK hit to date.

Released in 1987,[1]It reached #4 in the UK Singles Chart and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It was also one of his only two hits to chart in the Ireland Singles Chart (reached #14). However, "Criticize" wasn't so successful in the Billboard Hot 100 chart as it only managed to reach #70. It features on O'Neal's 2nd album Hearsay along with a number of his other hits such as, "What Can I Say (To Make You Love Me)", "Never Knew Love Like This", "The Lovers", "Hearsay" and "Fake". The song is also featured in the soundtrack of the video game Grand Theft Auto IV on the in-game radio station "The Vibe 98.8".
