Grant Steven Wilson is the co-founder (with Jason Hawes) of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), based in Warwick, Rhode Island, and participant and co-producer of the Sci-Fi Channel's "Ghost Hunters", which, as of March 2008, is in its 4th season. He and his wife, Reanna, have three young children, Connor, Noah, and Jonah. His hobbies include writing and illustrating fantasy characters and role-playing game characters, in addition to web design. He also plays piano and guitar.

Also, Hawes and Wilson participate in ghost hunting events available to the public. More recently TAPS has offered an event solely hosted by the TAPS members.The personal Ghost Hunting events have gained more and more popularity over the years with television celebrity guests. TAPS co-hosts events locations such as the Stanley Hotel in Colorado and the Queen Mary Ocean Liner in California.
