Indian Meteorological Society

The Indian Meteorological Society is an Indian non-profit organization that promotes the advancement, dissemination of knowledge, and the application of meteorology and related sciences.

The society was established in 1956.

For Meteorological works exploration in India from Govt. and private sector for increase the socieo economic importance of Meteorological Field and society is running on members money and some Govt. funding agencies.Fact|date=January 2008
