Sling bag

A sling bag is a type of bag that is worn over one shoulder with a strap that winds around the chest resting the bag on the lower back. Although they are similar to a Messenger bag, sling bags are often smaller and are worn in a slightly different way [ [http://www.zappos.com/gs/handbags-sling-bags.shtml Sling bags pictured and term used] ] .

Usage

Besides allowing regular items to be placed into sling bags, they are also used to carry UMPC's. Often, as these devices are used frequently by males that carry them in these bags, the bags are often called manpurses.
