History

OH 110 originally ran from Napoleon to Perrysburg along its current route and concurrent with OH 65 from there to Perrysburg. Starting in 1926, it ran along the north bank of the Maumee River from Napoleon to Grand Rapids, with the new US 24 taking the south bank. In 1931, its eastern terminus was moved to Grand Rapids.

In 1943, the eastern terminus was extended to Bowling Green, replacing OH 184, and it flipped western routings with US 24, once again putting it on the south bank of the Maumee. By 1960, OH 110 was truncated to its current terminus, leaving the road between OH 65 and OH 64 unnumbered.
