Alexander Language Schools International

Established in 1966 as a language school in Thessaloniki (in Greek Θεσσαλονίκη) (Salonica) Greece, Alexander Language Institute, (Alexander or Athena Language Schools/Services), ALS, has operated by establishing company-owned schools all over Greece since 1970. One can easily understand that the tradename "Alexander" has been used, as the founders come from the fatherland of Alexander the Great, i.e. Macedonia, Northern Greece, where Alexander was born, educated by Aristotle and grew up before his campaign to Asia.

Alexander Schools are operating in more than 100 locations worldwide, teaching English and other European and Asian languages as well as the language of each country to foreigners, in its overseas language immersion programs [http://als-alexander.org/immersion.htm (OLIP)] .

Internationally since 1994 with franchisees or partners using its trademark and system.
