Aladdin - Jaanbaaz Ek Jalwe Anek is an Indian television series.It is produced by the "Applause Entertainment" for "Zee TV" .It is currently on air.The series is based on the story and the character of "Aladdin" from "The Arabian Nights" .The series is developed as a family entertainer.It is being shown on "prime time" .The computer generated graphics are also used in this series - a thing seldom seen in an Indian TV series. It's transcript is in "Hindi" and "Urdu" It has been airing since "November 16" ,"2007" .

Plot

The main story is parallel to the famous storyline of Aladdin known all over the world. In this series, Aladdin is a teenager who was tortured by his aunt and uncle. Later, he embarks on a journey full of dangers and magic. An evil magician named Jafar is after him. Aladdin disguises himself as his uncle. In order for Jafar to get Aladdin's sympathy, Jafar tells him that he is seriously ill and his life depends on Aladdin getting the magic lamp. Jafar needs Aladdin to get the magic lamp from the cave because only he is innocent and compassionate. Jafar only wants the lamp for evil reasons. On his journey to the magic lamp, Aladdin's friends and well-wishers- Junaid,Princess Jasmine and Noori - keep him company and inform him about the dangers ahead. They even rescue him from the clutches of the evil magician, Jafar.The story is quiet interesting - as it is full of magic, magicians and flying carpets.
