Jackie Shroff was born Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff in
Mumbai on February 1, 1960, son of Kakubhai and Rita(an ethnic Turk) Shroff, into a Gujarati family. He married Ayesha, June 5, 1987 and has two children; son Jai Hemant Shroff, and daughter Krishna Shroff. His son recently graduated high school, while his daughter still attends the American School of Bombay. His deceased brother's name was Hemant. His star sign is Aquarius. Jackie is also known for his philanthropic efforts for the less fortunate.Awards
