HMS Burford (1679)

HMS "Burford" was a 70-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched at Woolwich Dockyard in 1679.

She was rebuilt at Deptford in 1699, remaining as a 70-gun third rate.

"Burford" was wrecked on February 14 1719 after running aground at an unspecified location on the Italian coast.
