Thiruvithancode church

The Thiruvithancode church or Arapally-Thiruvithamcode Arappally- (locally known as "Thomayar kovil") is one of the ancient churches established by Apostle St. Thomas in A.D 63. It is dedicated to St. Mary. It's believed to be one of the oldest churches in the world, where Malankara Christians used to gather. On December 16, 2007, it was declared a global pilgrim center by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Catholicos H.H Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Didymos I.the Superior vicar of this church is Very Rev.Barsleebi Ramban
