Boundaries

Cannock Chase constituency has almost the same boundaries as Cannock Chase local government district, with the addition of the village of Huntington from South Staffordshire district.

The constituency contains two main towns, Cannock and Rugeley, with the Chase itself situated between them.Cannock was previously situated (before 1997) in the Cannock and Burntwood constituency, while Rugeley previously formed part of the now abolished Mid Staffordshire constituency.

Under the current review, the Boundary Commission has recommended that the constituency borders be aligned exactly with the Cannock Chase local government district.
