Pete Stewart is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer from Washington state. He is/was the lead singer for The Accident Experiment, is the former lead singer and guitarist of Grammatrain, and is the former guitarist of Tait.

Pete released solo albums in 1999 and 2007. He served as producer, songwriter, and guitarist for the debut albums of Tait (the solo project of Michael Tait) and TobyMac, the latter of which sold over 500,000 copies. Pete has also done session guitar and vocal work for several records.

Stewart's involvement with The Accident Experiment alienated much of his Christian audience because of the band's secular focus as well as his lyrical use of profanity.

The Accident Experiment appears to be done recording and touring since their last performance in 2006. Pete has since moved to Los Angeles. He currently performs as a solo artist and produces albums.
