Fictional character history

Brood Queen from the planet Sakaar who becomes the lover of insect king Miek. During World War Hulk, when it was discovered that Miek was the one who let the shuttle that brought Hulk to Sakaar explode (destroying the planet's imperial capital where hulk's kingdom had been), "No-Name" and Hulk attacked Miek.

Near the end of the War the "Earth Hive", the shared consciousness of every insect on Earth, use Humbug as a Trojan Horse to deal a crippling blow to No-Name, rendering her infertile and poisoning the last generation of hivelings, growing into Humbug's body. These hivelings are destroyed when Shang-Chi mercy-kills Humbug.

Currently on the run from S.H.I.E.L.D. with the Warbound. In World War Hulk: Aftersmash! Warbound #4, it was revealed that, shortly after the Red King's defeat, she and Miek sired several crossbreed insectoids. Completely mindless and savage, the young ran amok and had to be killed by their own mother. Even though she killed them, similar crossbreeds have appeared as the pets of one of Hulk's sons, Skaar, throughout the first 9 issues of Son of Hulk. She is also mentioned there as being unique among all Brood, for she learned to feel compassion for others.

Marvel Zombies: Return

In the 4th issue, Hulk along with the Warbound reach the moon in hopes to start World War Hulk but instead meets Zombiefied versions of Giant Man and the Immortals. In the battle, Giant Man eats both No-Name and Miek.[1]

What If: Planet Hulk

In "What if The Hulk died and Caiera had lived?" No-Name helps Caiera conquer earth for destroying Sakaar and killing The Hulk without knowing it was Miek, because he dies in hopes of finding the Hulk alive.

What If: World War Hulk

In the first story, No-Name and the rest of Warbound are killed after Iron Man didn't hesitate in using the lasing and destroys New York.

In the second story that asked what would happen if Thor had battled Hulk", No-Name assisted the Warbound in fighting the Warriors Three until Miek's treachery is known. After Thor had successfully reasoned with Hulk, No-Name joined the Warbound in returning to Sakaar with plans to rebuild it.

Film

  • No-name is the only member of the Hulk's Warbound who does not appear in the animated adaptation of Planet Hulk. This was because the creators felt they did not have enough time to introduce her due to time constraints which also lead to much of the "Warbinding" scene not taking place in the film.
