Nick Quartaro (born October 5, 1955) is an American college football coach.

Coaching career

Quartaro was an assistant coach at several colleges, including Northwestern, Hobart College, Kansas State under Bill Snyder,[1] and Kansas (Offensive Coordinator) under Mark Mangino.[2]

He was the 22nd head college football coach for the Drake University Bulldogs located in Des Moines, Iowa, a position he held for two seasons, from 1987 until 1988. His coaching record at Drake was 12 wins, 8 losses, and 0 ties, which ranks him ninth at Drake in terms of total wins and third at Drake in terms of winning percentage.[3]

After coaching at Drake, he went to Fordham University to coach for four seasons from 1994 to 1997 and achieved a lifetime coaching record of 23 wins, 39 losses, and 1 tie.[4]

After coaching

After retiring from coaching, Quartaro became an insurance executive.[2]
