"Escape" is a book by Carolyn Jessop and Laura Palmer. It discusses Jessop's difficult upbringing in the FLDS polygamist church and the division that took place in that church in the 1970s and '80s. According to her story, at age 18 she was forced into a marriage with a 50-year-old man, Merril Jessop, who already had three other wives.

The book describes Jessop's later "escape" from the religion and the difficulty she had in surviving on the outside.

The book is published by Random House under the Doubleday/Broadway Books imprint and is also available in an audio format.
