It has been published by [http://www.manfredi.com Manfredi & Accociates] since 1984. Manfredi & Associates is a market research firm located in Mundelein, Illinois. Manfredi & Associates was founded by [http://www.machineryoutlook.com/about_us.cfm Frank Manfredi] in the early 1980's and focuses its efforts on market research for the construction machinery industry.

Frank Manfredi is known in the construction machinery industry as an expert in the field. He is a regular presenter at the Chicago Federal Reserve bank. Most recently his economic outlook for the construction machinery industry was presented at the 2007 Economic Outlook Symposium.
