MSPGCL (Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited) is the major Power Generating Company in the state of Maharashtra,India.

It has installed Power Generation Capacity of around 10000 MW.The power generated by MSPGCL is suppiled to the State of Maharashtra.

It was a part of Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB)until 06 June,2006.

The company has approx. 14500 employees at the end of Dec.2007.

1.Chandrapur - 2340 MW

2.Koradi - 1080 MW

3.Khaperkheda - 840 MW

4.Bhusawal - 482.5 MW

5.Nashik - 910 MW

6.Parli - 940 MW

7.Paras - 62.5 MW

7.Uran(Gas based)- 852 MW

Chandrapur was first Thermal Power Station in India to have been installed a 500 MW Generation unit,in 1992.
