Jodie Campbell

Jodie Campbell (born 18 January 1970) is an Australian politician. She was elected in the 2007 Federal Election as an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives in the Division of Bass in Northern Tasmania.

Ms Campbell defeated sitting member Michael Ferguson by a narrow margin of 1%. This was somewhat remarkable considering she had the lowest primary vote of any triumphant federal candidate of the 2007 federal election, 37%.Fact|date=September 2008

Ms Campbell's history in politics goes back to the downfall of the Australian airline Ansett in 2001 where she worked as an official for the Australian Services Union, a position she used to organise call centre workers. Jodie Campbell is a member of the Left faction of the Federal Parliamentary Labor Party.
