Worcester Park railway station is a railway station in Worcester Park in south west London.

The station is on the boundary of the London Borough of Sutton and the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames in South London. The station is served by South West Trains, and is in Travelcard Zone 4.

The station has a small concession stand selling newspapers, magazines, coffee and pastries. The station has no automated barriers, although these may be introduced once Oyster Pre-Pay is made available on National Rail.

Disabled access is very poor: although the London bound platform is accessible, access to the Southbound platform is only via the pedestrian bridge or a long set of steps.

On 10 December 2007 there was a landslide on the line near the station which caused major disruptions and cancellations to all services passing through the station for one week.

Services

The typical off-peak service from the station is four trains per hour northbound to London Waterloo, two trains per hour to Guildford and two trains per hour to Dorking.

Accident in 2007

In October 2007, a 14 year old girl fell into Platform 1 whilst attempting to board a train. The girl, who's destination was Raynes Park station, was boarding the train which terminated at London Waterloo to go to Raynes Park High School for school when she slipped and fell into the platform. She was holding onto her bag which was jammed in the train door. A passenger hit the emergency stop button as the train was departing at speed. The girl was sent to hospital, and has now recovered. Her mother was quoted saying that her daughter will no longer be taking public transport alone.
