Boiling Point (1998 miniseries)

"Boiling Point" is a 1998 Channel 4 documentary miniseries produced by LWT and following celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. (5x30') Broadcast 25 February 1999 - 25 March 1999

Gordon Ramsay is closely followed during eight of the most intense months of his life as he strives to create a restaurant which will earn him the highly prestigious (and rare) three Michelin Stars.

The series was followed-up by "Beyond Boiling Point ". LWT (6x30')which follows Ramsay as he copes with his celebrity status and juggles cooking with the ever increasing demands on his time from beyond the kitchen. Broadcast 2000

The show was screened for the first time in Australia by the Seven Network in July 2008 (not true first screened in 1999 by the nine network), following the success of "Hell's Kitchen" and "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" on the rival Nine Network.
