Sookmyung Women's University Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 4. It is located in front of the main entrance of the Sookmyung Women's University. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood of the subway station.

Sookmyung Women's University is private university in YongSan Gu, Seoul, South Korea. Founded in 1906, Soomyung is the Korea’s first royal private educational institution for women. Sookmyung has made an effort to develop women leaders by awakening their capabilities and expertise. In 1995, Sookmyung Women’s University developed its vision as the “World’s Premier Leadership University.” Yet the University still has higher goals and on the 100th anniversary of its foundation in 2006, Sookmyung established its goal to produce 10% of Korea’s leaders by the year 2020. For this goad, Sookmyung proclaimed S Leadership which focuses on Spirit, Skill, Service, and Strength as the foundational virtues for its future leaders.
