Yardena

Yardena

Yardena (Hebrew: ירדנה) is a moshav in the Beit She'an Valley in northern Israel. It is located about 8 miles north of Beit She'an, adjacent to Beit Yosef. It belongs to the Beit She'an Valley Regional Council.

Yardena was founded in 1952 by immigrants to Israel from Kurdistan. It is named "Yardena" because of its proximity to the Jordan River, which is called the Yarden river in Hebrew.
