Trent Kowalik is an American dancer, actor, and singer. In April 2006, he became the youngest American male to win the The World Irish Dancing Championship ( _ga. Biography

Trent is from Wantagh, New York. He started dance lessons at age 3½ at Dorothy's School of Dance. At a young age he started showing natural ability and flair in ballet, tap, and acrobatics. At age 4, he began instruction in Irish dancing, and by age 6, was competing at the highest level, Open Championship. He danced with the Inishfree School of Irish Dance.

At 13 years of age, he is a five-time undefeated North American Champion and a World Champion [http://www.worldirishdancing.com/2008/Worldwinners.htm] He holds multiple national titles in Scotland, England, and Ireland. He continues to study ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance, and was named Jr. Mr. Starbound at the July 2006 Nationals in Atlantic City, New Jersey. His television appearances include HBO's "Inside the NFL" alongside Bob Costas (November 2005), Good Morning America, and on the BBC.
