Bill Enouy

Bill Enouy is a Canadian politician, currently serving as mayor of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

First elected mayor in the 2000 municipal election, Enouy previously served as a town councillor in Kirkland Lake. He was an outspoken advocate of the failed Adams Mine proposal to repurpose a defunct open pit mine in Kirkland Lake as a landfill [ [http://www.northernontario.ca/speaker/content/archives/adams/1999.html Adams Mine archives] ] . He also later supported a controversial plan by Bennett Environmental to open a soil remediation plant in Kirkland Lake.
