Sheknsna Reservoir or Sheksninskoe Reservoir ( _ru. Шекснинское водохранилище) is a water reservoir on Sheksna River and Lake Beloye formed by the dam of the Sheksna Hydroelectric station. Construction took place in 1963-1964 as a part of the Volga-Baltic_Waterway. Surface area is 1,670 km², volume is 6.5 km³, average depth is 4 m. The main goal of the reservoir construction was a navigable waterway. The largest towns on the shores of the reservoir are Belozersk and Kirillov.Reservoir dam length is 1100 m, the dam complex includes 2 locks. The lower pound of the dam is Rybinsk Reservoir.
