Aviation Technology Group (ATG) is a Centennial, Colorado [ [http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2007/dec/19/jet-builder-atg-faces-financial-woes/ Rocky Mountain News: Jet Builder ATG Faces Financial Woes] ] based developer of the ATG Javelin very light jet (VLJ). It was founded in June 2000 by jet pilot George Bye.

Facilities

ATG has its headquarters at Centennial, Colorado, a suburb of Denver, Colorado. It has two other facilities in the Denver area. These are at Centennial Airport (KAPA) near Centennial, Colorado, with manufacturing facilities at Front Range Airport (KFTG) in neighboring Aurora.

ATG is leasing approximately convert|56000|sqft|m2 at Front Range Airport. The first building is a convert|21600|sqft|m2|sing=on facility, and is being used by ATG Flight Operations to manufacture four conforming Javelin aircraft as well as serving as test facility headquarters.

The adjacent building is being used to assemble production aircraft. ATG anticipates production of up to 10 planes at a time in the convert|34400|sqft|m2|sing=on facility. When production reaches full capacity for these facilities, ATG expects to have hired up to 150 new employees.

Aviation Technology Laid off al employees and halted development operations on December 17, 2007. On May 27 ATG filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
